I have a plant labeled "agave leopoldii". I didn't find this in the database. Do I need to look under another name? Or should this be added? Thanks, Lynne

From what I see on other sites, it's a synonym for Agave filifera subsp. filifera X filifera subsp. schidigiera. Do a search and see if it matches? I don't know enough to help beyond that. Maybe the Agave moderator can help you more.

Thanks Dave. I'll post a photo this weekend. Its a cool plant, but a bit deadly - like needles on the end of each leaf. The tips are tinted red so as to not show the blood you've left behind after running into it. Smiling

Few things are as painful as a stab from an Agave! But I love them nonetheless. Smiling
