Instead of where's Waldo, can anyone see where's the Bloom?

This tree peony would be the only TP that I would seriously consider moving since it is so hiddened. With it's droopy stems, you can't see the blooms. But, chances of my killing it while trying to move it will be quite high since it is an old plant. Here is a photo of it from last year with its blooms propped up.

Annette, your Wladislawa color is such a beautiful shade of pink. It is so romantic.

Neal, what a lovely bush of fernleaf peony! Can't wait to see the blooms open up.

Dianne, your Kinkaku is to die for. What lovely shade of orange, pink, and coral. I love the blooms on this tree. I only wish that they do not nod this much, but that can't be helped. Perhaps, instead of moving the whole tree, do you consider moving just a division of it to another location? That way, if the tree does not make it when you move it, you still have a backup.

Thank you all for your kind comments.

Neal, your P. Tenufolia is stunning, such a vibrant color!

Dianne, your Kinkaku blooms are beautiful! Unfortunately, it's one of the tree peonies that didn't do well for me.

Karen, I agree, Wladislawa is a beautiful shade of pink.

The plants kept changing throughout the day. Misaka and Wladislawa that only had buds this morning, opened blooms this afternoon.

Misaka, I couldn't seem to capture the richness of the blooms.

Do Tell deconstructed, or should I say the many faces of Do Tell. There are so many variations of blooms at the same time on this plant.

I have always admired Mikasa. I hope someday I will find it at a local garden center.

I keep telling myself I have no more room for anything new, but that Misaka sure is beautiful.

Plant #34 bloomed today so I have about 16 left. I am leaving for vacation in 3 days so I will once again miss the tail end of my peony season. I hope Garden treasure blooms in the next two days.

A few of this week's blooms -

Karen, Misaka is a wonderful addition to any garden. I got it as a potted plant at one of our local nurseries several years ago.

Thanks Liz😊 before you know it, your peony season will be here, mine will be over, and I'll be drooling at your pictures😄

Fantastic pictures Dianne, Gay Paree is just beautiful. I saw it at a local garden center recently, but didn't get it. I will the next time I see it. I love your combination of Garden Peace and Louis Van Houtte, with the yellow flower in the background, that is a great color echo for Garden Peace. What kind of plant is the yellow flower?

Bowl of Beauty's 1st bloom. I planted four tubers from a box that we got at Sam's 3 of the 4 plants are doing well. The 4th had stayed puny.

This was supposed to be Festiva Maxima. I started this tuber from a box, that I got inexpensively. I'm not unhappy about the plant, it's pretty, and has I nice scent, but now I have no idea of what it is.

The last of my early birds. Roselette. All the remaining peonies are probably 3 weeks away since we have had a cooling off period for about 2 weeks.

I reduced the color saturation in order to have the pic close to natural. The untouched pic has a bit too much orange.

That's a really pretty one, Jerry. It looks like the petals have a crepe paper texture, does it look the same in person? I like that texture....How long has that one been in place? Looks like it's happy in it's spot!

Well, Jerry. Another gorgeous bush! I don't know what you do but your peonies sure look happy where they are. If we were to vote for best clumps peonies, you would win hands down. Thumbs up

Jerry, Roselette is beautiful! How tall is it? What zone are you in? I would so love that color in the garden right now!

Thanks for the attaboys. I will try to answer all the questions in one post. I bought Roselette as part of a co-op handled by Tracey in 2010. $10 plus about $4.50 each for s&h from Hollingsworth. The petals have a crinkled form but more substantial than a thin crepe would be. Holds up well with rain. It is planted in a raised bed which was 8" originally but has settled to about 5". Probably 75% direct sunlight in the Spring then nearly 100% in Summer. I just measured it as 36" to the top of the highest blossom and about 36" wide. One of my better peonies but it is next to Hot Chocolate in the same bed. Two interesting peonies. I am at the line between zones 5B and 6A about 80 miles due East of St. Louis, MO.

Roselette is a fairly common peony usually available from the major growers. I only purchase from them so I have no idea of cheaper offerings.

So is that Hot Chocolate behind it with all of the closed buds and the dark reddish leaves? That looks like a happy peony, too! It's funny, as soon as I see a picture in this thread I open and look through them all before reading any of the post. You guys are truly inspiring gardeners!
