Sandra has been very helpful.
I would order from them again.......the knowledge base there is amazing
she said martagon album that I ordered are the size of a lemon per bulb
and the rest of the lilies are coming many of them species lilies
and 2 bunches of asiatics that I ordered and where not in stock any more they are substituting with a very nice oriental for the same price... one of the oriental is the edge and the other one is Acapulco

because of the deep frost under ground here yet.......and the big garden not done
they will all be planted in pots

she suggested 5 bulbs that are the smaller ones in the 10 in deep by 12 inch wide pot and plant them all about 5 inches down.
and the bigger ones 3 to pot..........about 5 inches down

I also have some lilies coming in the lily Garden but not heard when they are arriving. some of them are species lilies...

up until this year I had no idea what a species lily was...........but now I have a fascination with them and there beauty....

anyone dealt with these 2 companies?
the lily garden has been very helpful too in my decision on some of the lilies....

they both wished my luck on the Nepaleense lily that I ordered...... neither has any luck getting to do well to over winter......the lily garden I think is zone 3 and sw gardens is zone 6 and I am zone 5. my plan is put plastic over them and plant them in my rocky bed........it freezes early here in the winter. then in the spring I can take off the plastic and put back on the mulch once the weather warms up

For me, Judith Freeman (The Lily Garden) is one of the best lily growers around. I have been ordering from her since I got into raising lilies. Always delivering beautiful bulbs and extras. She also will answer questions, I have never in all my years had a bad bulb from her.

Me neither! And all her hybrids she sells are super hardy---if they aren't, she won't introduce them. And that's a fact! Thumbs up

I am not sure that she ships to Canada though........ I think I read on the website they do not......
they do ship from the lily nook to the US for sure.......

I said the Lily Garden and meant the Lily Nook........
that is because I have been to the lily gardens website a lot
her site is outstanding and packed with lots of info but sure they do not ship to Canada
