Your post gives me hope. I have two "hardy" hibiscus planted here and they both look completely and utterly dead. I am hoping that once the temps go up (especially at night...our nighttime lows are still hovering just a few degrees above freezing), they will "light up".

My one did appear very dead here up to this week but the higher temperatures brought it to budding,..i have known people to give up on them when everything else is in bud or growing strong come spring but the Hibiscus looks dead,..to be honest i was giving up on mine,..yours being a Hardy will hopefully come to life soon,..yes there is hope.
