I was about to buy a door for my tree stump but didn't want to spend the money so I went through some of my chotchkeys and came up with a frog theme. Still a work in progress.

Paul I found some fairies in JoAnn fabrics. It was $5.99 each but they had 60% off plus 20% off Email coupon so they were only less than $2 each. I picked up 5. This is still work in progress and I ran out of daylight and batteries but I will send an update later.

I just wish I knew about that section of the store sooner. There were just a few items their when I found these.

My son knew of a place where I could go to get tree stumps, slices and so forth. I started with this setup, and am still considering what else I can do with the other pieces.

My Fairy Garden I did for the summer of 2014 was not as interesting as the multi layered and/or those showing depth but I had a wonderful time creating it.

Hi, I've made small doors for stumps & fairy houses out of popsicle sticks & fashion them like a barn door. you can stain them, add tiny nails for details & upholstery tacks make great door knobs. I get tiny hinges from the dollar store,as well as the packages of popsicle sticks..... the popsicle sticks also make great picket fences! Have fun! Kim
