Show off those surprise gifts from Mother Nature.
Here is one of mine - I already shared it once and named it Age of Enlightenment. It is a sport of Renaissance.

This 'Nolan on Ice' - an OP seedling from 2008 of 'Outhouse Delight'. Picture taken early Aug. 2009. This baby comes up white like its mama and gradually goes misty/green. Also like the reddish petioles. It will be fun to watch. Named after grandson.

Yes - look two posts up for a pic from last year. He's not yet green this year. Nor is parent - 'Outhouse Delight'.

'Nolan on Ice' is struggling this year. emerged early and then there was a frost. And the earwigs are doing a real number on all my white hostas. I'm hoping there will be a better pic by the end of July.

Meanwhile, this 2009 seedling of 'Last Dance' has proven to be a winner. Reverse colouring from the parent and tentatively names after my youngest granddaughter. Will be either 'Lovely Leila' or 'Dance With Leila'. As you know, it's rare to get a variegated seedling from anything other than a streaked plant, but here it is. Good substance too though it suffered a bit in the heatwave we had last week.

It is a beauty and your choices for names are too!
