There can be different types of swaps, including offers for "Free for Postage".

Information for a swap:
- Who is in charge
- Deadline date/time for signup
- Deadline date shipping
- How many hosta (Named or unnamed if applicable)
- Ask for the particpants' actual names and addresses (which will need to be cmailed for
privacy if it hasn't been placed in the Cubits profile).

Once the deadline for signup passes, the Swap Owner will announce if it is a go (or not). The Swap Owner then sends a Cmail to each participant giving them the name and address for sending out their hostas.

The participants will then prepare and ship out their hostas. See the sticky on how to prepare and send them. It is generally OK to send more than the required number or add trinkets, companion plants, etc., but do follow the rules for that particular swap.

Participants will then post when they ship so that the Swap Owner can assure anyone bugging them that the package is on its way. Participants are also expected to post after they receive a package (your parents all taught you to say Thank You, right?).

It is OK to have seperate threads for Interest, Package Shipped, and Package Received, but not required to do it that way. Once the swap is over, the Swap Owner then CLOSES all of the applicable thread(s).
