Hi, Just repotted this sad aloe savaged from friend's long unattended garden area. Wonder what kind of aloe it is: could it be juvenna? aculeata? minnie belle? or even some X Gasteraloe (pearl aloe)?

Haworthia rugosa. Above Aloe aristata is also correct. Too many hybrids and naming confusion. I beleive it is more a Haworthia (small) than Aloe. Just me. http://www.llifle.com/Encyclop...

Thanks, Tarev & Kate & Stush. I think Kate hit the jackpot; it looks exactly like a Lace aloe (i.e., if Kate's link id the aloe correctly, compare one copied pic below to mine in starting post).

Stush, I was wondering if it was considered a Haworthia at first....amazing how much variation there is in this group of plants! Glad we figured it out. It is a lovely little plant!
