Here's my purple Noids along the fence line. They must have been introduced well
before the '80's, because of where I got them. They've been dormant
for years until we dug up and fertilized and moved them.

I would think the beard color might help in ID of the last one.

LOL, I didn't even look at where you lived! We are neighbors, Ponca is not that far at all. If you want a piece of Gold Ring to test, I will send you one.

I rec. several iris from my SIL in OR. She lives near Schreiner's(I know, I'm jealous, too)and she gets a lot but not all of hers from them. The problem is, she doesn't keep track of names. I would be content with this one being 'NOID pink' if no one knows it. The snow we had may have affected the bloom, too.

Rob:
Of your 1-16 NOIDS, the first and last one looks just like my Iris Germanica which Mr. PA posted a great reference to on the recent Historics forum. #5 may be Paul Black if it has a red/orange beard. I LOVE #7! No help though. #13 looks exactly like the one I just posted on blooming in KY, possibly Rare Treat if it has PBF. All are lovely although I prefer the modern ones (but they do not always survive).
I am so frustrated when something I bought or traded does not ring true to name but the guessing games are sometimes fun.

Hello, I have posted on the Dayliliy forum for a year or two, but first time here. I have a ton of Iris, all noids, and not the fault of the wonderful lady who gave them to me, she takes the time to write the names on the plant leaves, I have just never taken the time to make a map, until last year and don't you know, I can't find it. Any ways, the first year she gave me 72 different Iris and she has given me more every year. I have got to the point that I had my wife list free Iris on her Facebook and have given hundreds away, they multiply quickly. Now that I have given you all a little back ground on how I started growing Iris, here is a picture of my first tall bearded bloom of the year and a pic of a dwarf clump, they have been blooming a little while.

Welcome! Gale, That is a really nice Plicata there. You will have to post more pictures as they bloom, maybe someone on here will recognize some of them.
