'Course I'm wondering if the ID is good enough to submit photos to the database? Any opinions? There currently aren't any photos for Sedum goldmanii.

I got a new sedum book, lets look at the detailed description if there is one in the book. We will look at all details of your plant Donald. It will sure be exciting if we can do a positive ID on it.

This is now the accepted name as of January 2016. So I would believe it is okay to post it Donald, but you may want to add the GBIF link.

I could not agree more. It is going to take a while for things to settle and all the mis-named plants to be properly identified.

Lynn, after seeing the photo of sedum album Athoum that you posted in the chat thread I think my mystery is solved. What do you think? The one on the left is the photo from the database and the one on the right is mine this year.

Susan, it definitely looks to be S. album, but without growing it side by side it would be difficult to tell.

Susan, as soon as I saw the pics - I didn't even read any of the post but said "Athoum' it is such a distinctive sedum! I love it the little tips of growth!

Greg I think it is pretty distinctive too, but I will just mark it as sedum album. Know mine has white blooms.
