I will provide meat for sandwiches and I'm planning to fix some 'zippy' meat balls.

Bring a chair. There are some here but not enough.

If you want to get in on the hosta swap [always a highlight of the day] bring a hosta or 2 or 3.
We'll do the usual 3 rounds.

I should go but won't because I can't be outside. I've already been to the dr twice this summer because I react so badly to gnat, spider, & mosquito bites. It sure looks like fun.

I look around Hallson's website. If someone doesn't do a co-op for mini's I'll be shopping over there next Spring. They have a nice selection of ones I don't have or have lost.

I plan on going. Anybody else?

It is at a house. His name is Reldon Ramsey and he will be a very good host. If it's good weather it will be fun times!

This is a long shot . . we are going to Des Moines Sat to see Jersey Boys . . it's in the afternoon. DH hasn't decided if we will get a room and spend the night.

If we do, it wouldn't be so hard to stop out on Sunday on our way home . . but if the weather is such that the mosquitoes are out . . I'm just not sure. Sorry to be so iffy but it really depends on him. If he goes for it, I would probably stop at the Cheesecake Factory and bring cheesecake. Something you could just as well do without if I am a no show.

I don't have a cell phone so I'll just post here when it develops. I won't be doing any hosta trading but it would be nice to see YOU. Keep your fingers crossed for me. I have printed out all the directions from your link.

We are definitely coming and I'll definitely bring cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory in Des Moines. Now to decide on which one . . I am leaning toward the carrot cakey one. I wonder if they have a German Chocolate one.

I looked at the online menu for the cheesecake. They didn't have it listed but maybe they'll have it in the store. Oh, dear . . . what if I have to make a different choice? If I'm late, you'll know why.

It was so good to see Judi, Colette, & Jeff. You had a nice group of people and we enjoyed meeting them.

Thanks for the pics Arlene. Real glad Bruce and you were able to stop in and visit with us. I have pics too and will share in a few days once I get a little more time.


I so enjoyed sharing the day with all who attended and can't wait to do so again. I will try and get a Jimmy and Lois visit set up, but really we could stop in on them most any time.
