Blooming today. I had noticed buds yesterday and then forgot to check it during the day -- but it was raining most of the time anyway. Tonight I tried using my phone camera with the flash, which I've never done before I'll have to experiment. If the blooms open tomorrow I'll take more pictures.

The plant is huge. In fact it got knocked off a tall pedestal a month ago; none of the stems broke (it's a tough one); but it does need repotting.

Completely awesome, cool, and pretty!! How long was your wait to see them?

If you want to add your pics to this plants' entry, it's here: Zig-Zag Cactus (Selenicereus anthonyanus)

@ Tiffany. It 's been at least two years. I kept thinking I need to move it (where I'm not sure) because I thought it was getting too much sun. Thanks for your suggestion to add to the plant's entry.

I tried to enter the plant; but it wouldn't let me get to Stage 2. I don't understand how or what to fill in for Trade name or Series.

It's incredible! I'm glad you didn't move it. Looks like it's pretty daggone happy Smiling

It sounds like you may have clicked on "edit data details" instead of "upload a pic."
Trying pasting the link to the upload:
http://garden.org/plants/propo...

Looks like that works for clicking on. Just check the top of the page to make sure it says:

Beautiful! I just got a piece of Epiphyllum - Rosy variety and about to try to get it to root. I read to do this in straight perlite. Do you recommend this or have any other suggestions? As you can tell, this is my first attempt :)
