Hi folks! I don't grow daylilies, but I am an avid member of ATP. So I thought of you guys today when I was killing time in my allergist's office. Someone had left the home and garden section of Sunday's paper and it had a pretty good article in it. It also lists two events that will be going on in the area. One is the Bay Area Daylily Show and sale on Saturday and the other is Daylily Mecca 2015 which is where eleven growers in Central Florida will open their doors to the public.

Here's the article which also has good tips for growing daylilies in Florida, especially the Tampa area. http://www.tampabay.com/featur...

And this link is in the article, but I'll post it here, too. This is for the Daylily Mecca event: http://distinctly.on.ca/Daylil...

I might go check out the show on Sunday. It's across the bridge in St. Pete but I need to get out of my house. (Family is making me crazy.) Plus, I love adding pictures to the database and shows are a great way to do that! Plus, I know you Northerners need to live vicariously sometimes through us Southerners and I am happy to fill that need. Rolling on the floor laughing

Nicely written article.

There is so much to see during Daylily Mecca.
I live here and will catch a bit of it, perhaps any gardens missed last year.
