We have all grown our share of violets and enjoyed their friendly "faces", bright colors and spirit lifting sweet fragrance. (Some being better than others -- and this series is among the best!).
But have you ever seen such ruffles on a violet? Wow

I showed my mother your pictures and now she must have these. Which means I'm going to have to hunt them down around fall. Pansies are cool season only in Florida! I wouldn't normally plant pansies, but Mom loves them so what am I going to do? Plant them, of course!
