Well, everybody knows that is about the worst time of day to take flower photos(check the timestamp on the photo), but I did it anyhow. Sometimes you just have to take a photo when you have the chance.

Like that 'Rose Emily' and would have loved to see her open in the morning light. But, take the photo I say and never miss an opportunity!

All those blooms are so beautiful! I don't even have scapes yet. At least, none that I can see!

So nice to see images of everyones blooms! Wow, for Mint Octopus. Rose Emily, Night Whispers, Dr. Celia Stump and yesterdays Razor Sharp, love white edges on the darker flowers. Octoberfest sure is a bright one Thumbs up
Temperature has finally warmed up and the daylilies are growing. It'll be at least another month before scapes begin to show.

We had a mild winter and a early spring here, and I have noticed scapes on few plants, including two on Zada Mae that are already above the foliage and showing buds. I think I may have blooms before the end of May, The earliest for me by a couple of weeks, although I have only been growing Daylilies for a few years. Good for me, very bad for the snow pack this year. Beautiful pictures everyone, I am really enjoying them, please keep them coming.

Larry, wonder if your small flowered yellow NOID could be Daylily (Hemerocallis middendorffii) ? I grow it and it is usually the first to bloom here. This year Saratoga Springtime beat it. May 8 is not bad for zone 5.

All nice! Never have seen POH, I really love it. Doris and David looking good...but dont the always Big Grin

Has your Ruby and Emerald bloomed this year. I had my first bloom today and it was the darkest most velvety color. I took a picture, but it makes it looks a brighter red. Its one plain flower...but that color for me was a winner.
