And I'm never sure if there's a ssp. tacked onto this one or not! I have tried to figure that out...to no avail. Anyway, this is usually a bushy plant, often in the Hill Country. One of my absolute favorites! In the wild, many of them were wiped out in the recent drought, now they are re-establishing themselves.
