It always seems to happen that we lose what we most wanted to keep. Tonight the rose, Sheila's Perfume, went to a landfill bag. I already have Chihuly to take the vacant spot.

I love yellow and orange azaleas! I've had them for many years along with a gorgeous salmon. The people who bought the house ripped them out. Fools!

Absolutely no accounting for some people's actions. No logic that I can figure either. I am about ready to think seriously about planting out the dahlias. I have warm weather plants in the hoop houses and the 10 day weather forecast is for 60's in the day and mid to high 40's at night. That takes us up to Memorial day. Good enough for me. Sat and Sun are supposed to be sunny and bright. Great day for planting. I will help my DIL plant at her two apartment buildings (several 4' cement planters and various large pots). She and I bought the main plants last Saturday and when we went back to get more they were all gone. As soon as Alaska Mill and Feed gets their dahlias, geraniums, begonias and such in, they sell.
From -60 Alaska to +100 Virginia. Wahoo
