Hampton Court Palace Flower Show (Part 2)

By NEILMUIR1
July 19, 2011

Hampton Court Palace is in Surrey, which is to the west of London and lies on the side of the River Thames. The first Flower Show was held here in 1990 but it was not until 1993 that it became a Royal Horticultural Society Show. By concentrating on environmental issues, growing your own, and cookery, it was different from the Chelsea Flower Show. It also allowed people to test new tools and to buy plants, neither of which is allowed at the Chelsea Show until the last day. Please join me as I venture through the Surrey mud to see what I can find.

Neil, you're just getting better and better, if that is possible.

It was interesting to see many plants that grow here in you SA pictures. There are a few in my gardens.

Thanks for taking the time to do all that you do for us so far away. You're a kind man.

Hugs,

Nancy

Dear Nancy, it is so wonderful to have you back! I have informed them all on cubits that you have returned and are recovering from scones, jam, and clotted cream! Rolling on the floor laughing
Glad you had a wonderful cruise and are well. Thank you for your comments on part 2, but there is a part 1 as well with no comments from you on it! Grumbling
Part 3 will I hope be out shortly and then part 4 with Garden Clocks on it!
As this is a gardening site on my forum there is no chat thread, or anything like that, Strictly gardening! So that is why I have kept the Have Your Say forum on cubits, should people want to chat. Which they do!
Plus on cottage gardens as well.
Oh I have missed you so much, and all the changes I have gone through to come on here!
Loads of love.
Group hug Lovey dubby

Thanks for the welcome back, Neil. I have missed you too.

I will have to remedy the Part I problem. Thought I had done it. Senior moment....

Was it a big problem going from one site to another?

Hugs,

Nancy
