I don't think you'll find fernleaf peonies this time of spring for sale from the forum members, they're either actively growing or blooming by now. You can find them from some of the sellers for fall delivery, or potted at local nurseries still. Good luck finding them!

I obtained a fern leafed peony in the fall when it had gone dormant.
To my great delight it has sent up one tiny shoot! Whoo Hoo!

Fernleaf's are best transplanted in spring, but they are in bloom now, kind of difficult to divide.

I have a fernleaf hybrid next to a rhody and it has just gotten stronger and bigger over the years. I have to fence it in to keep it upright as the wind blows in that area between house and fence and though they have strong stems the entire clump just wants to bend to the breeze. Early Scout came up finally and is the most lovely purplish green. Dark. No buds but so pretty.

Klehm's Song Sparrow has the fl double for $60.00. Expect to pay $50 to $60 for the double and $35 to $45 for the single. My usual source, Hidden Springs Flower Farm is sold out. They are open for orders early Spring and sell out quickly. There are several sources available on ebay etc but I never purchase from them. Only the major nurseries although some of the mom and pop growers are trustworthy. All the major vendors I have dealt with bill the credit card in the Spring when the order is placed even though they do not ship until mid-September to mid-October. Essentially, you own it when you order it.
