My Honky tonk blues began to die this week leaves yellow
and falling down..

I got the magnifying glass and saw tiny
black almost like ants down in the dirt and a slug.

There are holes all in the rhizones..tiny ones...

What do you put down for the iris to stop these
and what month, is there something that pets
will not dig and harm them if it got on their paws
that you can use for borers or whatever destroys
iris rhizones?

We sprayed today with a grub liquid all the iris
I wish I had known to do this March lst when they were
just starting to grow..
but better now than not at all..

We put the cats in the house for 6 hours till the grub control spray is dry..
that is what they say...keep animals off any area until totally dry..

Hope this stops further damage on the iris
whether it was borers or something else that
put tiny holes in the rhizones...
or causes the leaves to yellow and
fall off..

thanks
