I planted tons of zinnias this year to attract the butterflies, thought I was going to have way too many, till the critters destroyed over half of them. If I can ever catch all the critters, I want to plant some more zinnias for later in the year, but not much use till I can get rid of all the diggers around. The coneflowers combined with the zinnias and the other plants normally really draw the butterflies. I should have a great crop of tropical butterfly weed this year judging by all the volunteer seedlings coming up plus the ones I planted.
