Hi, Sorry I missed this forum and posted this question in the Plant Database too. OOps...

Hi, Thanks for this place, I'm in love with this site. I have a logistics question. I've got my "Plant List" going but all the plants are listed (alphabetically) Common Name first. For me it's backwards. Can I make my list Genus, Species and then Common Name. Those Common Names are such a regional thing.
I love this place either way. So many questions, so much fun.
Thank you, Lori

Welcome to ATP, Lori.

I just tried playing with my plant list, and I don't think it's possible to change the order.
@Dave?

LlamaLlori Welcome! Welcome! Welcome!
Whistling Don't get me started on that subject. Grumbling I try very hard to ignore the 'wonky' list which is in a very odd alphabetical order.
I asked once before but I think it was either not possible or not practical.
Hope by now something has changed and it becomes possible for you...and for me, too. *Blush*

This is a duplicate of a post in another forum were the problem was addressed.
The thread "Genus First?" in Plant Database forum
Plants in your plant list are in alphabetical order by genus, but the common name shows in front of the genus so it appears to be out of order.
