Oh my God. I don't know one from the other. I guess I'll have to take a picture of the whole plant. I have one with large pitchers and one with small pitchers.

Carol,
The dogs are indeed a Mastif sort not Bull mastiffs but , breed Cane corso translated walk dog , they are origin escort compenion for horse's that are brought to the market and to protect the horse's against wolves.
Because the big family,s (Self been raised in a family of 16) one standard of this breed is to be child frendly but also protect everything in and around the property.

Whe have also a maine coon and a turkish angora cat , the angora long white hair is a real eye catcher and expensive($1500)
Last year a guy whas trying to take that cat, the angora took a run into ower property and the guy told me his cat whas on ower property and he whanted it back.
Told the guy that he could take it home if he could lift it up and whas abble to walk tro the gate , well he whas willing to give it a go.
So i called out the name off the cat( he thinks he owns ower dogs) and the cat came to me with ( his) dogs , told the guy that he whould have a bigger problem than he could handle if he whas trying to lift the cat up. Than he told me it whasnt his cat but it whas so beautiful and walking free that he thought it whas without a owner (yeah yeah)

About the T.mysorensis , its very special over here, but think that what is very commen in youre part of the world over here is special , and what is commen over here is special in the US.
Didt bild a website a month or four back ( my first attemt) forgot a lott of species, like Uvaria grandiflora and some more plants , but if you whant to take a look.
Dont know if its aloud to place the link, if not feel free to remove it.

Fer, I enjoyed your website. Your photos are amazing. I was surprised how easily I could understand Dutch descriptions, a beautiful language I had never seen before and of course the botanical names are universal. My planting zone does not permit such awesome varieties and I must admire from afar. Drooling Drooling Drooling Drooling Drooling with envy all over my keyboard Thumbs up I tip my hat to you. Thank you for sharing!

I have to say that 95% of my plants are grown in container, because whe also have very cold winters overhere and all my plants have to overwintering in my greenhousse's
Started about 27 years ago with collecting tropicalplants and growing them, so some of them are very big and 27 years old like my clivia,s and bougainvillea

Ferenc your Thunbergia mysorensis is gorgeous! I was able to buy a plant this year. Didn't bloom, but I have it overwintering in the basement.

I can't get over the size of your clivias and the trunk on your bougainvillea!!! How old are they and what is your special secret to get the bougainvillea to bloom?

Have several big bougainvillea,s all grown in containers, so food ( 20-20-20 NPK) is the thing to gett theme bloom this way im giving every two weeks in spring and summer my plants 20-20-20.
The containers with the clivia,s are about 27 years old and there weight is about 90 kilo each so difficult to handle

Nice pics, thank you for sharing.

Many years ago I had a fly trap, not certain which one and it didn't survive.
I like the purple pitcher plant and most if not all of the carnivorous plants. I hope some day to have some of them, however I must learn more about them and be certain that I understand how to properly care for them and have the proper environment/habitat set up for them. Any information is greatly appreciated, thank you.
