Dave - I can upload the photo, but when I click on the save and proceed to tagging (or whatever it actually says), I am unable to continue. This started to happen only last week. It doesn't seem to matter if I change the other setting to publicly viewable or only me. Can you help?

Thanks,

Jeanie

When you say you're unable to continue, what does that mean? Is there nothing that happens or does it give you a particular error message?

Dave, nothing happens when I click. No error messages.

When you click it should take you to the next page and give you a message at the top saying that you can now proceed with tagging it.

Dave - nothing happens. Below are two screenshots - the first is just after I upload an image. The second is after I have clicked the "Save and proceed with tagging this image" button about a dozen times.
Can't tag anything or post the photos. FYI, I have also been getting security certificate messages when I view photos on my smartphone. Never got those before.

It may be a problem with Internet Explorer. I'll test this using my windows computer and see if I can replicate the problem. Have you always been using this browser? I'm not saying you should switch but I wonder if you had firefox or chrome if it would work in there.

Hi Dave,
Yes I have always been using IE. I could try Firefox tomorrow and see if that will work. Thanks for the suggestion.

I used to use IE and I got all sorts of strange things happening. I switched to Chrome, and all my issues on this site were solved. (Not saying you should necessarily switch to Chrome, just that I'm pretty sure IE is the root of the problem).

IE is a fairly ancient piece of software by now, and most people have abandoned it for newer HTML5 browsers like Chrome and Firefox. I definitely recommend moving ahead. The whole web works better with those two new browsers, not just ATP.

Yeah, agreed! Even IE has abandoned IE. Sticking tongue out

No argument, but it's odd that IE worked just fine until last week.

I did post some photos using Firefox today. If that's the only option, it will work.I am still getting weird security ccertificate messages when I stroll through ATP on my phone though. Just letting you know in case you have nothing else to do, Dave. Whistling
Thanks for all you do.

Do the security messages happen on every page of the site when you're using the phone? Is there a way that you could take and post a screenshot of what you're seeing?

I know how to take screen shots on my computer, but not on my phone. I get the error usually when I click on a photo to open. It doesn't seem to matter which area of the site. It is the error about problems with the security certificate and I have to click "continue" to view the photo. Does that give you enough info?

On Android phones press and hold both the power button and the volume down button. A screenshot will be taken and saved to your gallery and you can then upload it.
