We went to the HJC Spring Garden Show today in Hagerstown. The cost was $5pp and I think it was a much better show than I have seen for a couple years. Unfortunately, the batteries on my camera gave out shortly after we arrived, but I did get a few shots.

This is the neatest thing I saw, laser printing on Cannellini Beans. For $5.95 you get 5 beans each with a personalized name and I saw the plants they had growing and the name was actually on the first new leaf!!! This was amazing. So I got a set for each of our granddaughters. Gotta share them with you!

And a set for Eva as well - they come with a pot and soil and would make a great novelty gift. And I am telling you the name is actually on the first unfurled leaf

And then I got - LOL, I saw this weeping pussy willow and just could not resist, it was just adorable! $20 I thought was reasonable, well reasonable cause I really wanted it

And then I just had to have this vase thingy. I just loved it with the frog already in the center and just the flowers rising from nowhere! I bought some roses and rosemary and filled it soon as I got home - for some reason I told the shopkeeper to just keep the gerbera daisies, duh another blonde moment. Steve must just love me a bunch, cause I told the fellow to keep the arrangement that I just wanted the container and then I turned to Steve and said now I have to get some flowers to put in this thing

Here is a shot of the ceramic vase, it really isn't very good quality, lots of bubbles and I realized when I got it home a terrible runover on the bottom, but still a neat design.

This is a tiny one I got him to throw in as it will come in handy for some theme arrangement in the future I am sure.

This was a very nicely done 4th. of July arrangement.

Unusual birdhouse reminded me of Steve's cane carving.
