The Master Gardeners of Lewis County have the best plant sale ever. Lots of unusual perennial and garden starts for a buck to five dollars. For twenty dollars I have filled the back of my Outback the last two years with hostas and perennials I never see in garden centers. Have a nice selection of mini hostas now and a few noids to fill-in. If you love a cottage garden this might be worth a day trip. Think I might try to fit one of the 3 foot tomato plants in my car this year also.

Can't wait for tomorrow and will be there early for the best selection. This is a very incomplete sampling of what I got last spring or the spring before.

Way busy and had difficulties getting a cart, but ended up following someone out to their car and bringing a cart back to the sale. For $43 I got 14 gallon perennials, 7 six inch pots and a few miscellaneous smalls. Only got one tomato plant (yellow pear), but they had a nice selection of heirlooms. My cart was full and I had to carry it. Some people were more ambitious than me and got a few carts of plants.

Now the fun is over and the hard work begins Rolling my eyes.
