Our granddaughters Abygail and Eva love to play in our gardens. We have that island and they play in the fountain and with the treasure chest. They live in separate parts of the country and don't get to play together often. I had fun gettin this picture of them contemplating what to do in Steve's veggie garden last summer.

Just couldn't resist posting this little video. Eva is in the pink and Abygail in the gray. They are real garden helpers as you can see. Eva picked some flowers later that day and used a planter to arrange them into a little secret garden of her own.

This is truly what it's all about - that picture is so so precious!

Thanks Dea, we have the photo hanging in the dining room and it puts a smile on my face every time I see it.

Another favorite was this photo of Eva asleep on the patio with one of my giant tree peonies. This variety is about a 3 1/2 ' tree now and gets full of dinner plate blooms.

Here is the photo I spoke of above when Eva was planting her own cutting garden, using cut flowers!

And I am guessing that you will be having children in your garden before this year is out! Hope to meet them here. BTW did this take a long time to load with the video? Was thinking perhaps I should keep the videos in on thread if that is the case?

The girls are just beautiful. I love children in the gardens. If you look at my profile photo where I have a little "helper" following me....that would be my 6 yr. old grandson Cody. He loves to talk to all my flowers and he just loves to move all of my little garden deco pieces all around. I leave them where he moves them for he thinks he is really helping me and I wouldn't hurt his feelings for anything.
We always have to do a drive about on the golf cart and look at all the new blooms.

Your video loaded fast for me and I loved watching it. That is a keepsake you will always treasure.

My grandkids are 9 and 12 now. Still cute, but I love the ages 4 and under.

You are so right, she is the aggressive gardener and in everything else she does! Kind of reminds me of her... grandmother! Thanks.
