I would just further observe it. If it does not appear spreading, I prefer to leave it alone. Sometimes, the more you disturb, the more you spread it. Sometimes plants have their own mechanism to deal with it. Give it time, continue to keep it dry if your temps still are cold or your humidity is high.

Tarev is probably right, good culture is often the best cure for fungus issues, especially if it's not advancing rapidly.
Every time I see that black spot, it goes on and clears up pretty fast, but you will lose the leaves that are affected.

That's species, with smaller leaves, seems the most susceptible.

Thanks for all the advise guys. I cut off the infected leaves and moved the plant to a sunnier spot. The fungus hasn't come back but it has a little sunburn now. I decided to just leave it alone now and see what happens.

Definitely not sunburn, I can hear it saying "Ahhhhh" from over here! *Blush* Think of it as a suntan more than a sunburn, but in this case, it's a good thing!

Jade plant can get sunburned, necrotic spots, if it's given too much sun, too fast, without time to adjust gradually. I did it *again* this spring.

I see that happen if it gets rained on when it is cold.

It's always driven me mad way c&s burn, and the irony in it!
The plants that can and do tolerate some extreme abuse from the sun, also are basically the most vulnerable to it!
Sure, put a shade plant in the sun and the result is predictable, but most plants that people keep inside for the cold and back out for summer, will take a pretty serious burns, fall apart, and witching a few weeks or months, fresh leaves are back and perfectly suited to the sun.
No real long term harm done.
Some of the leafy c&s can spring back well too... But nothing burns like a succulent!
If it's a cactus, or any number other succulent with a perennial trunk or stem... It can be a disaster!
Even death!
Just awful to see a big jade burn down...chunk after chunk of stem plopping off...

It has some of those Sun burned spots. They didn't really show in the picture but it's doing well otherwise.
Tarev, I've never seen a jade so red! I think it looks pretty cool. Does the deep red color go away? Or does it need to grow out?
That's an awesome bonsai, I was thinking of trying to prune my jade to look like that but am afraid of it not turning out so well.

Hi Aimee, as weather warms up, it eventually goes back to green. The leaves will not die because of that, it is just a stress reaction to the chill. That is as long as it remains dry. If it rains and gets chilled like that, leaves gets damaged, it will have those nasty black spots, so the plant will just eventually drop that damaged leaf, but it is so quick to bounce back when conditions gradually warm up. As weather warms up, new growth begins again from the center of each rosette or in between the nodes of the branches or the stem itself.

Winters are so different year to year..but the more mature the plant is the more it is able to handle the varying weather conditions.

It's hard to compare jades from Southern California to anywhere else in the states that I've seen!
I was shocked to see them so common and so large... I'd seen them close to the same size in ground in green houses, but it's just not the same.
I even saw a few piles of pruned off chunks of them laying on the street. Waiting for the trash truck. The same way you might see branches piled up in any neighborhood.

Prune away.....everywhere I cut, it just grows right back!!! And you can root the cuttings so easily and make more Jade. And more jade. And more, and more, and more.....
