The Hosta forum has been very active this morning Thank You! Hurray! I tip my hat to you. Thumbs up It seems a little self-indulgent to post more pictures of my Hostas. Kind of like showing lots of pictures of the kids, grand kids, or pets. Indulge me a little. Here I go again..........

Maybe I will get a few pictures of mine but first I have to weed all the horse tail out. Grumbling

Horsetail is an absolute nightmare which I haven't had to deal with. On of my cousins had soil brought in when he landscaped his home that must have come from an area where HT grew. He fights it all the time.

I does start to die back as summer temps. warm. I would rather have horsetail than bind weed or some of the ground covers that are invasive.

I'd be a nervous wreck if mine weren't up.....Checking the ground each day for signs of pips. I am happy to share. Posting on ATP is very nearly as good as having a garden visitor who appreciates what you are trying to achieve.

I have a few pips showing but we have been pretty cool so I expect they will all come up eventually. We have a lot shorter growing season than you so don't get to enjoy them for nearly as long as you do. That's why I so appreciate you sharing yours, it extends my season ! Smiling
