I remember seeing this photo before, to me it appears to be a white Poinsettia that's been photo-shopped.

Man... Another one of these on here!

Such a hard plant to lay hands on...

No idea why they're so uncommon!
Such a stunning unusual flower!

Lucky you! Enjoy it!

For the record @Swayback I don't own one. My GF found the picture and asked me what it was. And of course not knowing, I came right to here. It is indeed intriguing!

It probably wouldn't live in my zone anyway, so I'll save my money.

Your killin me! Rolling my eyes.

It's native to Mexico!

It might need a drink but it would most likely do fine if you site it properly...it's my zone that it probably won't live in...

From What I read, it's from the mountains of eastern Mexico, where the weather is always spring like. Couldn't find a zone, but spring like doesn't apply here. Sighing!

The only 2 I actually know of are in California, but further north than you are, I've heard of them being hardy up to zone 5, I'm not really sure where all they would be hardy, I'll be trying the here sooner or later.
There's grafted ones available that are supposed to be more hardy and tolerant of different conditions.
