This is a bush that is growing in one of my flower beds. I am not sure if I planted it or not. My brother-in-law looked at it and said that it was not a tree. It is growing really fast. I hope someone can ID this for me.

This is a bird feeder that a Robin built a nest in. In the picture above the wind this past winter blew it over, and a Robin decided to make use of it.

To my old eyes it looks like some kind of Hickory tree; if the main trunk was cut/severed the plant could be making multiple branches and might appear to be a shrub. That's my guess.

I really love your yard and garden. So much fun everywhere you turn! Thumbs up

Thanks Greene and Tiffany. I will have to look closer at the base to see if it has been severed and to see if it is hard and woody. I will try to get a picture of that if I can.

Greene, I am glad that you enjoy seeing pictures of my yard. I love spending lots of time out there but not today. It is cold and very windy. I do post picture of my gardens on "Jeanne's flowers in Iowa" on the thread "all things gardening" I think is the name. We sit on the top of the ridge so there is always a breeze but today it is around 30 mph winds if not more.

The leaves do resemble

but I don't know if that one grows in your area or not. If you get a chance, check behind all that foliage to see if there's perhaps a stump hiding in there. Green Grin! If so, try to get a photo of the bark which may help in identifying too.
