The Verbascum does reseed but not too much. I started 3 from seed about 5 years ago. I have maybe 8 plants now? I haven't pulled any seedlings that I know of. I let them all grow.
Yes, Tom, I would say peak is here !....things ,I think, will fall off pretty quickly, too, as it seems most of the ones either dead, or sick, from rot were late bloomers.
I think red and purple go great together! I really like the white flowers in that picture -- they add wonderful contrast!! Should have a third clump, though -- never plant or decorate in even numbers. That's a really beautiful bed, Celia!!
