So I am planting some new semps I just purchased and it just dawned on me that I haven't had any casualties this year! That makes me so happy because I almost gave up on growing semps in this hot and humid Texas climate! I'm glad I didnt...
I was having issues with watering and I find if I only water them about every week and a half they do great. Not to mention that I moved a couple of months ago and my balcony faces north , not south like my old one. Here is a picture of my new favorites....

Hurray! That is great news Jennifer, to hear you have figured out what will work in your part of Texas. Take notes all you Texas semp growers. Hurray!
You are going to love boissieri, it is a beautiful semp.

I wish I could get the coloring a little better, it is so beautiful. It's a blush with red tips I love reds so much but sometimes I get too variations of red and nothing else so it's a nice change.
