Wowee!!! My keyboard is all wet from my drooling all over it! Those blooms are amazing! I really need to some day make the trip to see these shows! Fantastic!!!!

Hotlanta was on my "follow" list to see how it turned out in a few years. It's very pretty. Love the yellow New Day Sunshine........ Randall Lanier Barron was the President of the local daylily society here and past region 11 President as well. He also hybridized some striking daylilies. He always organized the daylily show here in spring. No daylily show this year after his death last December. He will be missed. At least he has a beauty of a daylily to honor him...........Maryl

Randall was really wonderful. It was also holding its color wonderfully. New Day Sunshine you might see showing up on the blooming thread. The color was just to outstanding to leave it behind, even tho I prefer the shape of Jolly Good Yellow. The yellows just show up so good from a distance too. Im glad Im not the only one liking it.

I have one edit....When Royals Dream is really Coit Tower. I went back and changed it. Im glad Karen caught that, because I was going to put these in the plant files.

Pam, do you know what the name of that pink spider is, the one behind Free Wheelin???

Let me go back and look. I dont know why I wouldnt have bought that. Its pink. . If Karen just happens to pop in, she will know, if not, I will find out. There are a couple of those I didnt buy, which I am going to put an order in for the fall. Like I say, its the last of the Stamile stock, and they are healthy. Hate to take my chance on the LA if I dont have to. I do have Doo Wop on the wanted list.

When they let me have the last Mint Octopus, Karen said..oh Guy has a big green thing out back... boy I cant wait to see it. It will be fun to see what they do with some spiders. Well..if they even are.

Now that Im home and cooled down, I of course wish I had asked if we could peek at some more of the seedlings out back. At the time, the heat was dictating.

I liked both of those yellows a lot. I really like the yellows anyway, but those two, Good Day Sunshine and Jolly Good Yellow, are each in their own way very appealing. The big sticking point for me, aside from them being evergreens, is which one holds its color better until late in the day (if either do)........I hope you get lots of blooms from Good Day Sunshine and post the pictures on the forum....Maryl

It bloomed today, straight up full afternoon sun in the 80's and nary a fade or wilt. It has a bud ready to open tomorrow, Ill post on the blooming thread.

Venetian Ruffles is gorgeous. We made a few purchases from Floyd Cove during the Mecca, and received Venetian Ruffles
as a gift plant.
