I have just found that the Madame Gallibert flowers last a really long time, sitting in a bowl of water, and remain nicely fragrant as well.

The leis are beautiful! Don't have enough blooms to make even a bracelet. My Divine, Pink Singapore, Rimfire and a no ID pink are still blooming but the blooms are he tiniest I've ever seen them, just a little over a quarter size.

Not sure if it is because of too much rain?

It has been too long since I made a lei; I spotted some Celadine blooms this morning and was prompted to do this (with a selection of other blooms from my yard). Aloha!

I agree
I can't make any leis this time or my California Sunset or red plumeria will go bald.

Made a simple lei yesterday for a friend's birthday; will have to come up with blooms for one tomorrow too. It's getting a little thin out there now, I may need a ladder....

Another pretty one, Hetty. I think I see at least four varieties.

Only my Vera Cruz Rose is really "washed-out", Hetty. The Slaughter Pink is a little bit peaked as well. The two seedlings are just as bright, just as colorful as they were when they first started blooming mid-summer. The Jack's Compact Yellow has been in bloom since June and is still the same deep-yellow. The Madame Gallibert and Celadine look the same, and in fact, the Celadine is showing more yellow, but I don't guess white can get washed-out. Whistling

Now that's really nice. I have a handful of blooms, nothing like yours Hetty.

My plummies are confused, they think it is time to wake up and sprouting new leaves. My DPS has formed a new inflo that just has a new bud opened but dismally small, true to its name "dwarf".

Not enough blooms for a lei.
