Hi & TY! The plants of that genus I've ID'd before are much taller entities. And wasn't aware of the butterfly host plant aspect. There are some of those around the yard too.

My bad, I should have said above, the plant in question is only a few inches tall. I've seen taller specimens, but never more than about 10". They make kind of a ferny looking mat...
