ALWAYS go to the clearance racks at garden nurseries before shopping for full priced plants. Sometimes a little TLC is all a plant needs and at 75% off, you can’t go wrong.

I have to laugh because a friend and I just last week went to Strange's, a local large garden center and floral supply place. Having never been, I went up to an employee who was watering herb plants and asked where the reduced price area might be. She said, shaking her head, "We don't have one of those." I had a hard time believeing that so I said "You know, where plants go that are past their prime or need some TLC, reduced for quick sale?" and she said "We don't do that. We do sometimes reduce prices but we don't put the plants for sale all together. We're not Lowes."

Well! That told me, I guess! Hilarious! Hilarious! Hilarious!
