Last summer we had Graptoveria in a clay container. I just loved the creepy stems with hairy areas on them The plant burst at the end .
I am doing a series of paintings based on the photos I took then.
Amazing Jo Ann. I look forward to seeing the finished paintings. Sometimes I think the painting is more interesting than the actual plant or photo of the plant. I so wish I had the gift of painting or drawing. I marvel at the work you do.
Thanks Lynn.
I find the shapes visually exciting and the space around them also.
Colors are fun to play with, if everything was grey they would still be great.
Very Pretty as usual JoAnne. Did you do less Coleus this year? They all look pretty so I cannot tell. My drought and heat was so bad the only thing that did good for me this year were my perennial pots and my tender succulents that I take out every summer. I just did not even have the will and water to go out there in the heat.
I am considering changing my summer patio pot display to all succulents and give up on anything that wants needs water.
Cinta, I am on that page with you.
I have stopped watering the deck as of yesterday.
I don't have any house plants due to the drag of watering them all the time.

My house;plants are fine in the winter. Maybe because my house is cool. I only water maybe twice all winter and my succulents I water maybe once. there have been years I have not watered them all winter. Succulents love it dry and cool.
