A Walk in a Peony Garden

Here in the beautiful Willamette Valley of Oregon the spring days are inching their way into summer. What better time to visit a local commercial peony garden to take in the sight of these wonderful plants in bloom.

I agree with Leon!. You were very thorough in presenting all that the Peony Garden had to offer and backed it up with numerous wonderful photos. Great job Connie! Hurray!

Enjoyed the article very much, Connie! I loved all the hardscapes, especially the little girl with the rabbit. I am amazed that there aren't any peonies flopping over. Do they support them somehow?

Thanks for the walk through the peony garden Thank You!

Vickie, the reason you don't see flopped peonies in my photos is because I left that one out. Brother Chuck. Hilarious! It was raining on and off the day I visited so it was a good time to see which ones stand and which ones flop.

You can see my photo of flopped Brother Chuck in my thread Annual Volkswalk at Adelman's Peony Gardens 2014 in the Peony Forum here. It is towards the end:

The thread "Annual Volkswalk at Adelman's Peony Gardens 2014" in Peonies forum

I used many of these photos for the article.
