I think the unusual tomato was a misshapen Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum 'Costoluto Genovese')

As for the largest tomato, we have won that category every year for the last 4 or 5 years, and almost always we win using our strain of Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum 'Kellogg's Breakfast') . We've been saving seeds of that for a very long time and we save from the biggest fruits we get. Every year we consistently get several fruits over 2 pounds. This year's winner was 2lb 3oz.

I don't have many Kelloggs breakfast tomatoes, but if I can top that, I'll let you know. We can have another contest? No splits? Who grew it?

I'm giving Kellogg's Breakfast a try this year. We'll see how it grows up Nort!
