This is a small brass container that has 3 tiers. I just added a few echinacea and spider dahlias and of course the baby's breath. My idea is to make the arrangement reach up rather than out. Again I accessorize with a piece of driftwood. In a small container the simpler the better.

Where can I get a container like that? I have some Echinacea blooms that I made. They are almost like wood. I think I could make a container from 3 different lengths of bamboo. Maybe that would work?

Sounds like a great idea Clint. We are making another with PVC = I think the bamboo is a really clever idea. Can't wait to see what you come up with.

Rose, tulips, forget me nots and storebought gypsophilia and a stem of dicentra (bleeding heart). Three vases and use of a frog in the bottom of the center vase.

Hi Candee

Love that last arrangement. I wish I can grow astilbes - they keep dying on me after a few months, or they fail to come back the next year.

Hope you are well!

I am working on the well Dianne, thanks. It took a long time for my astillbes to produce. I had them in the shade as suggested and they didn't do a thing, then moved many into the sun and some did well and others not. Then move a few into partial sun shade and started getting better results, but must tell you I have purchased a dozen or more over the years and have about 4 that produce and the rest are pretty pitiful sites.
