I have some growing, but I am trying to remove the ones in the front yard because of the invasive nature (spreads underground) of it in favorable habitat. I've moved some to an area where they can spread outside my yard. But of course, they are really pretty when blooming! The Woolly Ironweed, on the other hand, only spreads by seed, as far as I can tell.
I would feel more optimistic about a bright future for man if he spent less time proving that he can outwit Nature and more time tasting her sweetness and respecting her seniority. E. B.White
