It is June 1st and my crepe myrtle is just as brown as it was January 1st. There are alot of brittle branches on it. Is it dying?

It does sound as if it is. I don't know where you are , but here in Texas the crepe myrtles are starting to bloom. However, welcome to All Things Plants - even members with dead plants (probably all of us) are welcome!

Sounds like this crepe myrtle didn't make it. Sorry to hear about your loss.
