About to pour out that leftover coffee? Wait! Hold on. It's not finished yet. It still has work to do. I have found that some plants love their coffee as much as I do.

Worked at one job where they had the most beautiful African Violets. No natural light. No one seemed to tend the plants. I couldn't understand what the secret was until I noticed each person in the office would pour out the dregs of their coffee cup into the plants each day.

I'm glad you said that. I knew about azaleas liking coffee grounds, but wondered about roses because we happen to have a climbing rose between two azalea bushes, all three are new plantings.

I'm just about to plant 3 new blueberries, I planned to use some untreated compost (no lime) to amend the planting. We usually put our coffee grounds in the compost anyway so I may as well add some to the amended soil. Thank You!
