Well, "slow-poke" me finally made it over here. At my age, I'm glad to make it anywhere!

For Dee & Polly: Do I need to re-join this forum, or am I still good from Cubits? I'll catch up on the threads if I missed this.

Also, I'm just now finding my way around this new site, so please bear with me Smiling !

Glad to see the database is here.

The iris season seemed too short this year with lots of rain here. Now it's almost like the Mojave Desert! Today's actual temperature here at 6:04 pm was:

Hi Leon,

You're good to go, we would know you anywhere, LOL. There are new members here, though, so if you would introduce yourself here it would be nice, though,

The thread "Let's introduce ourselves." in Irises forum

Of all your pictures you've posted, I have to say I like that one the least.

But wait -- I don't think there's a database here -- It's over in the Irises Cubit, and also the Daylilies and Roses Cubits will continue to house their databases even though they've moved over here. I believe the Roses Forum over here has a direct link over to their database in Cubits, which I think is a great idea and hopefully the Daylily Forum will also do that at some point.

And I'm sorry you're having Bakersfield-type temperatures right now. It's bad enough over here where it's usually very dry, and I can't imagine what it must be like in Indiana!

We too have a link at the top of the irises forum. There's no place to put a database over here at present, within the iris forum.

Polly, I get nothing when I click on "Irises" at the top of the Irises Forum main page. So for some reason it's not working for me. And if I click on "Irises Forum" at the top of this page, it just takes me to the main page.

OK, NEVER MIND -- I just touched "Database" with my cursor and it highlighted -- I'll have to try it out right now. Sorry about that...

I was wondering if people would miss that. Should I put a click here or some other phrase?

I suggest you do something similar to what the Roses Forum has done to make it really stand out -- there was no way I could miss that one, but I just kept focusing on the wrong area in this forum -- a little slow here! Sorry!

That's not a "bad" picture. The picture quality is fabulous. Don't hate the messenger (in this case the picture) because you don't like what is pictured! Big Grin

You're right, Greg. Love the picture, hate the contents.

Betty, I'll see what I can do to make it stand out more. Thanks.
