zone 8b and you can grow Tibouchina in the ground. How awesome is that. I love that flower but it does not like our dry heat!

Hello all, heard about this place from The Survival Podcast. Look forward to learning lot. I'm in the Memphis area and have a small garden in my backyard, and hopefully helping out with my daughters school to plant some raised bed gardens this spring.

Welcome to our forum!!! We have the best group of people here and I'm constantly getting ideas for projects and learning so much!!! The itch to get outside and work in our gardens is really strong these days. I'm looking forward to a wonderful new year of gardening!!!!

You will really enjoy working with your daughters classmates!!! That is always so rewarding!!! I'll be glad to answer any questions you run into. I'm a Master Gardener thru the LSU Ag extension. They have some really great teachers there and are willing to answer any of our questions.

Hi Y'll. Just found this forum -- haven't been on this site too long and am just finding my way around. In another life, I was known as JeanK. I recognize a lot of you from there.
