Does anyone know how to root a clematis from your existing plant? I have one like the purple bell shaped blossomed one shown in the article, which I have now forgotten the name of, silly me. But I would like some more plants of it bit is so lovely, & I have never seen another to buy. Several friends would love a start of her also. And I would love to have more of her scattered around in case I lost her I could get a start back. Many years ago I ordered a clematis called pistachio. It was a pale mint green with a white stripe down each petal. One year it just failed to come back, I have never found another to buy a replacement.

Also, the seed heads they make, will they come up??
