It looks a little pink in the pic, but is red. The trunk/branches itself are skinnier than my other plumies. Any thoughts on ID?

Hmmm the bloom is similar to my Trimark to me (pinwheel blooms). What is the leaf like?

I can never keep a rooted cutting of this, my friends want this all the time. I'm paying forward because it was given to me too.

This last picture of your bloom is much more different, more red and really beautiful. I also can't see the top of the flower so it is hard to tell if the flower pattern is the same.

Maybe similar to Trimark but not the same.I will take a picture of the leaves over the week-end.

So pretty!! My DD was attracted to the thinner petaled flowers while choosing her first plumeria.

The lighting was bright on the first pic I posted. Here are a couple more. When the flower first opens it is red, and then fades to pink.

It's most likely a variety that does the rounds as 'Rainbow Starburst' or also 'Pinwheel Rainbow'. I have several, most of them bought under different names grrrr.

Hetty good to know about Rainbow Starburst and Pinwheel Rainbow. I've always wondered if these 2 are related and was always toying with the idea of getting one because I love the pinwheel petals.

With Trimark it is easy to know you have it because it is the only plumeria I have that the color changes almost everyday. One day the buds will open as deep red, other days pastel color/orangey and sometimes hot pink. The best one is when all three colors are in one bloom. It is a truly pretty sight.

GigiPlumeria, the little one in the background is my son. He loves going around and smelling the flowers almost as much as watering the plants with his watering can.

The pics are actually different plants. One seems to consistently have more yellow than the other. However, they are both very fragrant.

They appear to be a generic white and yellow. Lovely blooms, and yes, the white and yellow ones are often the most fragrant.
