A friend and I went to Tom's today. What a daylily, hosta and iris paradise that is! Tom loves to grow things and really has the touch. One of the great things about him is that he sells his intro's at very reasonable prices. Even the newest are only $40 a DF. Note: I don't work for him. I'm just a friend and happy customer. http://www.carolinadaylilies.c...
If you happen to talk to Tom, tell him I sent you. He's going down to the National tomorrow.

Tom has supplied a lot of plants for the Mid-Carolina Daylily show and sale in Columbia on Sat. E-mail me if you're interested in coming.

Here are a few misc. pics.

One of Tom's intro's from last year. It came home with me today. Hurray!

Impressive!!! I love that "double seedling under eval". What a gorgeous double and clump! Definitely worth naming and registering! Some really lovely plants at his place. He certainly seems to have a green thumb. He must have good soil, too.

Thanks for sharing those photos! Really nice each and every one of those plants. Thumbs up

Here are some pics of Tom's things I got for my garden.

Red Ragtop and Lake Murray Sunset. I live on Lake Murray to that was a must.

The pics of Lake Murray Sunset above were taken mid-afternoon. This one from the morning.

I also got an outstanding plant named Stand Up and Cheer. Tom said he'd got the branching/buds wrong when he registered it because it got better as it settled in. These pics are on my lined out piece. It's so tall and the scape is almost as big as my finger. I saw a mature plant and the bud/branches really are a lot better. It was a Wow moment.
