I went to Jungle Jack's in Vista, CA! Jack was so nice, quiet but nice. His helper , Margaret was really informative. The selection was overwhelming! It was so hard to choose. There were at least 4 tents of plumeria ranging from 4" starter pots to huuuuge trees 15 feet tall. I've never seen anything like it! I didnt have time to see them all. But i got a miniature Thumbelina and a semi-dwarf, Gina. I've converted my DD into a Plumeria Lover. We bought her her first plmeria today, California Sunset. She was quite impressed with the nursery.
This is the first tent when you walk in. To the right, there is a peek of a tiny portion the palms he sells. These plumerias are in bloom or have inflo.

And just a glimpse of the other plumeria. I was so in thralled I forgot to take pictures of the other collections in the other tents. Oops!

I forgot this photo of the office. There were boxes ready for shipping plants. Against the back wall are all Jungke Jack's tags for his named plants.

Lucky you. It is a great place to visit. Although I have to tell you, it's John, Jack's son, that you met. Jack himself is in Thailand, and John runs the nursery in California.

@Hetty, now that you say that, I was introduced to him by Margaret (?) as "John The Owner". But an hour later, after I made my selections, I called to him, "Hey Jungle Jack! I want a picture of you! You're famous for your plumeria!"

If I had more time, and had it been cooler, I would have loved to roam the entire property. But I had dinner plans at El Ranchero, a real cute place in Vista with pretty darn good Mexican food! I enjoyed it over the regular Tex-Mex we get here.
